The future and development of GlotPress (EN)

Speaker: Marko Heijnen

Session in englischer Sprache

GlotPress is a collaborative, web-based software translation tool and it’s the tool that was build for WordPress. The development slowly stopped till I picked it up last year. Now I work together with Yoav Farhi to improve GlotPress and we have our first GSoC project.

During this session I’m going to talk about the structure and problems I had when starting to develop GlotPress and how we now continue to build new features on top of the existing code. Part of this means refactoring code into a better OOP approach and the other side we start using new tools that helps us to ensure that we have a high quality of our codebase.

And at the end I will talk about the future of this tool and the roadmap to make GlotPress one of the best tools out there and a tool every plugin developer will use.
